Mini painting series: day 1

В начале апреля Тара проводила челлендж, который предполагает, что ты исследуешь одну тему, технику семь дней (ту писала об октябрьском марафоне). У меня не было возможности рисовать вместе со всеми, потому только теперь я готова начать. 

Работая недавно над заказом, я поняла, что мне сложно даются ближние планы. Мои пейзажи обычно предполагают видимую перспективу. Но меня поразили работы художницы Dreama Tolle Perry, которая показывает уголки сада, летние кофейни, ограды в цветах и другую красоту, работая с ближними планами. 

Сложно придумать интересную подачу, когда нужно показать вид от первого лица. Поэтому сила перспективы уступает место силе цвета. Кроме того, рисовать нужно быстро, чтобы сохранить свободу мазка.

Моим вдохновением сегодня была фотография реки, протекающей по лесной чаще, где сквозь кроны деревьев выглядывали лучи солнца. 

Я не стараюсь сейчас добиться идеального рисунка, интересно пробовать изобразить игру света и тени.

Mini painting series: day 1

In the beginning of April, Tara conducted a challenge, which assumes that you are exploring one topic, the technique is seven days (the one was writing about the October marathon). I did not have the opportunity to paint with everyone, ande only now I'm ready to start.

Making commission, I realized that it's difficult for me to work with the near plan. My landscapes usually assume a visible perspective. But I was impressed by the works of the artist Dreama Tolle Perry, which shows the corners of the garden, summer coffee houses, fences in flowers and other beauty, working with near plans.

It's difficult to come up with an interesting presentation when you need to show a first-person view. Therefore, the power of perspective gives way to the power of color. In addition, you need to draw quickly to preserve the freedom of strokes.

My inspiration today was a picture of a river flowing through the forest more often, where the rays of the sun were peeping through the trees.

I'm not trying to achieve the perfect picture now, it's interesting to try to depict the play of light and shadow.
